Redefining the Dad Hat

Because it doesn't just have to be that one baseball hat- you know the one.

The Dad Hat. Everyone seems to know what this is, what it looks like. It implies a soft, low profile baseball cap, maybe with a funny saying, a sports team logo, or even the branding from the local farmer's market. It also implies (or at least used to) a lack of style. The Dad Hat and the Dad Bod were both gentle insults to all Dad's out there. Your Dad is not cool and hence a Dad Hat is not cool. And of course, over time, it then became ironic to wear the Dad Hat—consciously wearing uncool items seems cool, right? If it all seems confusing, we've got you covered. We're redefining the possibilities of the Dad Hat, Goorin-style. Because your dad is a little bit cool... sometimes... right?

The Bobby Dean
Best for the dad that likes to impress and show he can still make an entrance. The dad that 'cleaning up' isn't a once in a blue moon occasion.

Benjamin Paul
Best for that dad that knows how to have a relaxed vibe. He's not stressing the summer away, but he's done wearing ballcaps all year long. He might also know that Brad Pitt wears this hat and that you can do a lot worse than emulate 57 year old style icon.

Mane Man Trucker
Best for that dad who doesn't take himself too seriously. He knows he's the King of the Jungle even if it's only his backyard. He knows who the real boss around the house is.

Harbour
For the dad that isn't afraid to try new things. He starting mountain biking in his 40s, he learned to surf in his 50's, and he has also learned the lesson that life is better in a fedora, especially in fun summer hues.

Doctor Jones
For the dad who is as reliable as they come. He likes well-made things and gives them their own special spot in the house (he keeps them around a while). He knows a trusty hat when he sees one, and he has a special hat hook for it, too.
