Goorin Morning Routines: Jacquelyn - Goorin Bros.

Q: Do you have any rituals or routines that you do in your day to day life?

Nothing like a pandemic and staying at home for a year+ to turn me into a morning routines person?! A few splashes of extra cold water to the face and I’m on my mat by 7:15 am doing some sort of HIIT or yoga class. After that I take these two cute new roommates of mine for a little stroll in Golden Gate Park.
My favorite favorite serum right now is @Agent RXs Betacell. The hyaluronic acid gives my skin the punch in the face of hydration I need every day to get going.
Lastly, I always try for at least 5 minutes of silence for myself with my coffee to mentally prepare for the day.

o Q: What has been the best purchase you made in the past 12 months?

A: Hands down my chartreuse velvet couch- purchased it in February of 2020 without truly knowing JUST how much time I would be lounging on it in the year to follow. Who knew that a pop of color could bring some true joy into my life day after day?
After that it’s my plaid shacket from this cute boutique, @roundtripcollective in San Pedro, CA. I can find an excuse to pop this thing on in just about any occasion; dress it up, dress it down, it does not matter. The fact that it is almost always 66 degrees in SF definitely enables/validates my obsession.

o Favorite Hat to wear when you need a pick-me-up?

A: I have a small collection of cream and nude wide brim, felt hats. I can pop just about any of those on and turn my mood right around. My favorite would be the Painted lady in Taupe. I think we launched this in 2018 and I haven’t take it off since. The nude swirl technique makes my heart go pitter-patter.

o What are 3 items that you couldn't live without in the summer?

A: Does camping count as an item? You can find me in a tent as many weekends as possible during the summer. Don’t worry- I’ve always got my waxed canvas adventure hat in tow!
My car: a must-habe to get out of the foggy, chilly city and into some nature.
A cheeseburger, grilled up in someone’s backyard; with all the fixins’.

o What will be your #1 song on repeat this summer?

A: My Spotify playlists these days seems to be All Out 70s and I don’t see that changing very much for the next few months.
